How should I enroll a fingerprint for reliable padlock recognition?

Touch the sensor with the center, sides and tip of the same finger, then enroll a second finger as backup.

Use a clean, normally dry finger and follow every prompt. Slightly rotate and reposition the fingertip so the template includes multiple useful regions instead of repeating one identical touch.

Test unlocking several times before securing valuable property. For shared use, document authorized users and delete access when it is no longer needed.
