Can a Tuya Bluetooth padlock work without internet access?
Nearby Bluetooth and fingerprint functions can work without continuous internet; remote cloud functions require connectivity and sometimes a gateway.
Tuya Bluetooth locks can communicate point-to-point with a nearby compatible phone. Local fingerprint unlocking also does not need the phone to be online after enrollment.
Remote viewing or control requires a compatible Tuya Bluetooth gateway, Wi-Fi and a supported configuration. Exact behavior varies by model, firmware, app panel and permissions.
